Broccoli Salad

3 lbs. Large fresh broccoli, (washed and cut up in bite-sized pieces)
1 small red onion (cut into small pieces or strips)
8-10 Slices of bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
1 Cup of grated cheese
Lettuce (Optional)
Plum Tomatoes (Optional)
1/4 cup Sunflower seeds
1/2 cup dried cranberries

Dressing: 1 cup mayo
1/2 cup sugar
2 Tbsp. white vinegar
poppy seeds

Whisk together mayo, sugar and vinegar and toss together.
Put dressing on right before serving. It's yummy!
